We are really a warehouse within a warehouse! The whole warehouse building is 300,000 sq ft and houses a varied and interesting group of businesses: a brewery, a mushroom business, and a few dozen individual antique, vintage, and art shops and…….
And Us! The Antique Warehouse Hudson NY! We are not a group shop. With 40,000 sq ft, we are the largest, most exciting owner operated antique and vintage shop in the northeastern United States!
We cover every style and period of furniture, lighting, architectural salvage and decorative accessories!
We are a destination! We can provide one piece of furniture or enough to fill an entire house, inn, restaurant, movie or theater production, or whatever space you can dream up. We rent furnishings for staging, wedding venues, and every kind of event.
We are a five minute walk from the Amtrak station which arrives from NYC and Canada several times a day. The area has amazing hotels, B&B’s, and restaurants.
So, who are we anyway?
Paul Dorman and John Frederick, Owner/operators.
Paul and John founded the legendary Cottage Treasures 21 years ago in Long Valley, NJ. In 2014, they opened The Antique Warehouse Hudson NY and quickly created a place of epic proportions, scope, and style… and a shopping experience like no other. They find the choicest pieces in the attic of an old barn… or might just purchase the whole barn and reconstruct it in the store! Paul and John have a long history of seeing possibilities in what might otherwise be overlooked.
John Frederick, Designer. John’s many years in the world of residential and commercial interior design and special expertise in lighting solutions bring a sophisticated, on-trend look to the store and its furnishings. From setting up a space to choosing a perfect fabric, John is a connoisseur of taste and charm.
Stephanie Lloyd, Purveyor of Interesting Antiques. A long-time friend, colleague, and collaborator of Paul and John’s, Stephanie brings a distinct, eclectic mix of country, industrial, mercantile and eccentric to the store. With 28 years in the antique business, she is known for oversized pieces, one-of-a-kind objects, as well as the many small, quirky, very-affordable items that attract artists, collectors, and children.
